2017 Tour Schedule Is Announced
The Adams Pro Tour has released its 2017 tour schedule and membership information. The 2017 season will have 14 event played over 24 weeks. The season will begin March 8-11 in Westlake, LA and end August 16-19 in Texarkana TX. Seven of the tournaments on the '17 schedule are scheduled close to a PGA or Web.com Tour qualifier. Thus allowing players to qualify for PGA/Web events and have an alternative event to compete in should they come up a bit short.
Each tournament will boast a guaranteed first prize between $20,000 and $40,000 with purses expected to be between $100,000 and $170,000.
2017 Memberships are now being accepted. Pricing for memberships will be $1200 when joining by January 15th, 2017, and $1500 there after. We do have special pricing for PGA Web.com, PGALA and PGA Canada members. Standard tournament entry fees will be $975 for members and $1300 for non-members of the Tour per event.
“We have again focused on a schedule that provides players a good opportunity to qualify for regional PGA and web.com events, while providing a reasonable travel schedule, sizable purses with meaningful first prizes, and timely weeks off,” says Tour President, Gary DeSerrano. "We are happy to say we have added new markets and increased our expected prize money in 2017. We will continue to work over the winter months to formulate new partnerships to better each professionals experience on the Admas Pro Tour."
